Custom Aluminum Spir-o-lizer for the Oilfield Industry

Westfield Machine, Inc., employs industry best practices to build quality into everything we manufacture, and have specific expertise for producing tight tolerance components for use in oilfield applications. To produce the aluminum Spir-o-lizer shown here, we utilized a variety of turning and 3D milling techniques to form the curves, recesses, and variable profile geometry of this component. Our high quality machining of the smallest details enabled us to maintain very tight dimensional tolerances of ±0.005” on this Spir-o-lizer, which featured a 21.0” outer diameter and length of 21.75”. We also applied a painted blue finish in accordance with the customer specification.

As an API Spec Q1 and API ISO 9001:2015 compliant service organization, our quality management systems, which we use to control all operational processes, ensured that we provide consistent results when manufacturing all three of these unique components to guarantee their longevity in an oilfield environment.
