Custom Drive Gears for the Oilfield Industry

Through a combination of manufacturing processes, including milling, turning, and stamping, Westfield Machine, Inc. cost effectively produced the custom bronze drive gears shown here for a customer in the oilfield industry. Featuring an outer diameter of 4.0” and measuring 1.25” in thickness, we fabricated them from an aluminum brass alloy, which exhibits very high strength and outstanding corrosion resistance in seawater. Manufactured and inspected according to the processes defined in our API Spec Q1 and API ISO 9001:2015 quality management system, we were able to achieve exceptional, verified accuracy of ±.0005” throughout the 50 unit order.
